Pretoria workshop · Wood & steel

Design it. Price it. Then talk to us.

Custom furniture usually starts with a week of emails before anyone will tell you what it costs. We put the pricing on the page instead. Set the size, choose the materials, watch the number move — and only send it to the bench when it looks right.

From screen to floor

Three steps, no back-and-forth.

You can change your mind twenty times before you ever speak to us. That's the point of putting the prices on the page — nothing about the process starts until you're happy with the drawing.

Step one

You draw it

Set the size, choose the materials, pick a finish. The model turns as you build and the price moves with it, down to the last metre of steel.

Step two

We confirm it

Your build sheet arrives with every number on it. Within one working day you get the price confirmed in writing and a date for the bench. Nothing is due yet.

Step three

We build and deliver

Cut, welded, finished and assembled, then delivered and set up in the room or on the patio it's going to. Progress photos along the way.

What it's made of

Two materials. Nothing hidden.

No veneer over chipboard, no flat-pack fittings, no folded sheet held together with rivets. Solid timber and welded steel — which is why we can price from real quantities rather than a guess.

Solid timber

Kiln dried · 25–50 mm

Boards jointed and glued into a single slab, sanded through the grits, then oiled or lacquered. Pine through to walnut, with reclaimed Oregon in between.

Welded steel

Tube & plate · Mild or 304

Cut, welded, ground smooth and coated in one piece rather than bolted together from parts. Stainless where the sea air or the fire calls for it.

What's coming next

In development

Poured concrete tops and a built-in pizza oven box are being tested in the workshop now. They aren't in the builders yet because we won't price something we haven't made properly.

Know what you want? Go straight to a builder — it takes two minutes and you'll have a price. This form is for everything else: an odd size, a repair, a piece that isn't on the page yet.

Ask us something

A photo, a rough size, or just a question about what's possible. We answer every one.

We use your details for this enquiry only, and we don't add you to a mailing list.

Got it.

We'll come back to you within one working day. In the meantime, the builders are the fastest way to see a price.
