Build your table here

What is on screen now is our standard size, not your order. Change the answers below to your own measurements — the drawing and the price update as you go. Nothing is locked in, and nothing is ordered until you have a written price. How this works

✦ Start from a look

Pick one to start, then change anything. Nothing is locked.

Width — left to right
mm
Depth — front to back
mm
Height — floor to table top
mm
Will it get into the room?

Measure the doorway it has to go through before you order. A welded frame that will not turn through the opening cannot be fixed on the day.

Doorway it has to go through — so we can check it fits
mm

The clear opening, not the door leaf — measure between the frames with the door open, and check any passage or stair corner it has to turn on the way in. Left alone we check against a standard 760 mm inside door, but that is our assumption, not your measurement. If you already know a welded frame will not go in, tick Bolt-together frame below. A piece that cannot be carried in on the day is not something we can put right at our cost.

Cable management
Where the port goes

Measured off the legs, so it never lands on one. On a narrow top with the legs well in, it moves inboard until it fits.

Turn it into a corner desk

Two arms, each its own length and depth, form one L-shaped top banded round the corner. Just measure each wall.

Legs set in from each end
mm

More inset looks lighter, more "floating". Less gives more end support.

Steel colour
Any colour you wantMixed at the paint counter · same price as the rest

Every colour costs the same: two coats, priced by the steel there is to cover.

Each shelf is a welded steel sub-frame with a board top, priced off the tube and board used.

Shelf height — off the floor
mm
Shelf depth
mm

The shelf runs between the legs, so it can never overhang the ends. How shallow it can go depends on the frame — the rails sit on the legs, and the board has to cover them.

Something else?

We build one-offs all the time. Whatever you type here goes on the build sheet and we price it with the rest — it just will not appear in the drawing above, because the 3D preview can only show the options listed here.

Riser width
mm

A separate stand — lift it off, or move it to another table.

Which end
Unit width
mm
Unit height — floor to the top of the posts
mm
Shelves — slide each one up or down

Each shelf sits on its own welded rail pair, so you can place it exactly where you need it.

Will your things fit on it?

Enter something's real size and it's drawn to scale on the table. Anything that won't fit turns red and shows you by how much. Drag pieces in the drawing to reposition them.

Millimetres, measured off the thing itself. Or start from one of these:

Your own equipment is never charged for — it's just drawn in to check the fit.

How many identical desks

Each table: materials plus welding and painting. Delivery is R 300 for the whole order, however many you buy.

Delivery

Delivered assembled, carried in and levelled where you want it. R 300 anywhere in Pretoria, added on top of the price above. Outside Pretoria we don’t deliver — you’re welcome to collect from the workshop.

Shortcuts — only if you want them

Describe it — AI builds it instantly

AI turns your description into a real design right away — no waiting on us, nothing to review. Change anything afterwards.

Jump straight to a setting

A dot means it's already set. Tap any item to jump straight to that step — or describe what you want in the box above and we'll find it, spelling and all.

Your build sheet

This is exactly what gets made.

Priced off today's real material and labour costs. We confirm everything in writing within one working day — nothing is due until it's built.

Watch one of these get built You are about to pay half up front to someone you have never met. Every step is filmed — cutting, welding, grinding, paint, the top going on.

Not ready to send it?

Email this design to yourself.

We’ll send you a link straight back to this exact design, with the price on it, so you can finish it later or show someone. It is not an order and we will not chase you.

Send it to the workshop

Nothing due until the price is confirmed in writing. Then a deposit to buy the materials, the rest on delivery.

Your design and price go with this automatically — nothing else to type. We'll call or WhatsApp you to confirm.

Add timing or a note (optional)

Your build sheet, the drawing dimensions and the price all go with this message, so nothing has to be re-explained. We use your details for this enquiry only.

Ordering more than one thing? Delivery is one R300 fee per order, not per piece — so a matching desk on the same order arrives for the same R300. Design it in the desk studio and mention it in the notes, and both go on one build sheet.

It's on the bench list.

We've got your build sheet and we'll come back to you within one working day with the confirmed price and a date.

From the same workshop

Real steel, real board — same hands.

The coffee table studio is new — nothing to photograph from this bench yet. What's pictured is a real desk from the same Pretoria workshop: same welded steel, same board, same process. We'll swap this for a real coffee table the moment the first one's finished.

Before you send it

The things people ask.

Is the price on this page the real price?
Yes — real merchant cost for materials, plus flat fees for welding and painting. Half the materials up front, the rest on delivery. Everything confirmed in writing within a working day.
Will it wobble on an uneven floor?
Levelling feet come standard on every leg — an M10 threaded stud welded in, with a foot pad and a nut that rides on it. Turn it up or down once, on delivery or after you move the table, and the wobble stops. Included in the price you see, not an add-on.
What if I want something that isn't in the builder?
Build the closest match and note the rest — we make one-off pieces all the time.
What about payment?
Nothing due until we confirm the price. Then a Yoco link for half the materials to start, the rest — plus all labour — on delivery, before it's handed over.
What if it arrives and I'm not happy with it?
Anything that doesn't match the build sheet, we fix or remake at our cost. A change of mind after cutting means new materials — which is why the price is locked in before anything's cut.
Do you deliver outside Gauteng?
Yes — main centres are priced in the builder, elsewhere we confirm the cost with your quote.
