You pay the materials up front so we can buy your stock, and the making only once it is delivered. Delivery is quoted on top. We confirm the lot in writing within one working day — and if a measurement changes anything, we tell you before you pay a cent.

From screen to floor

Three steps, no back-and-forth.

Custom furniture usually starts with a week of emails before anyone knows what it costs. We put the pricing on the page instead, so you can change your mind twenty times before you ever speak to us.

You draw it

Set the size, choose the board and the frame, pick a colour. The model turns as you build and the price moves with it.

Step two

We confirm it

Your build sheet lands with us with every number on it. Within one working day you get the price confirmed in writing and a date for the bench. Settle the materials and we go shopping.

Step three

We build and deliver

Board is cut and edged, steel is welded and coated, everything is assembled and levelled in your room. You get progress photos along the way.

Is the price on this page the real price?

It's built from the merchant's shelf price for the board, the steel and the paint, worked out against the actual area of your top and the actual metres of steel in your frame, plus a making charge set to the same figure again covering cutting, welding, prep, spraying and assembly. You pay the materials up front and the making on delivery. Delivery itself is quoted on top rather than hidden inside it. We confirm it all in writing within one working day. If something about your design changes the number — an odd size that wastes most of a sheet, a section that's out of stock that week — we tell you before you pay anything.

What if I want something that isn't in the builder?

Build the closest thing you can and write the rest in the notes. The builder covers most desks, but we make one-off pieces all the time — angled corner desks, matching returns, shelves and drawers. The build sheet gives us a starting point instead of a blank page.

What about payment?

You pay the materials up front and the making when it arrives — and because the making charge is set to exactly what the materials cost, that works out to half and half. The first payment buys your board, steel and paint; we send you the merchant slips so you can see it went where we said it did. The second is only due once the desk is standing in your room. Nothing at all is due when you send the build sheet from this page.

Do you deliver outside Gauteng?

Yes. Delivery to the main centres is priced in the builder. Anywhere else, choose the national option and we'll confirm the exact cost with your quote — it's usually less than the estimate.
